This product is excellent for what it's intended: semi-pro music loop creation! It is cost-effective and accurate, though compared to its revolutionary but retired grandpa Acid Pro 4.0 it lacks the 5.1 Surround sound option, which is a must for most modern video-sound creators. It can be used also as multi-track mixer for podcast, audiobooks, radio drama, etc. All in all, MS-7 is great for semi-pros.

JimThis software was only $48 and it has tons loops included. The workstation structure is useful. I think I got a bargain.

I purchased this program in hopes to start creating my own music. So far, it's worked like a champ. I'm not the most experienced, but I've been able to even create my own acapella songs. They're not great, but that's not because of the program. I need to learn to sing better. LOL!!!!
And the nice thing is, it isn't hard to use. I installed it, and within about 30 minutes I had created my first song. Short, but it did what I wanted.
I can also atest to the program working okay in that my other half now keeps complaining about all the racket in the computer room!
In closing, I do like the program and I do recommend it for someone who's looking to create their own music.

I have been recording in pro studios for 14 years now, and i bought Acid bcuz i was tired of paying hourly rates and having to rush my art. I am happy with the easy-to-use Acid program. And the sound results are as good as your ear can mix a song. If you have a good ear for mixing, then you can create a good sound with Acid.
