Adobe Audition is a must for quick audio processing and removing noise. This program's fortes include individual track editing and final mix cleanup.
I've been using it since its Cool Edit days and want to congratulate Adobe for actually making this software even better instead of overcomplicating it or otherwise changing the very nature of what made it great to begin with.
Audition's easy to use interface allows for time-saving and detailed editing of audio tracks and it is one of the few programs having the ability to remove background noise and bleed-through instruments from vocal tracks via its noise profile capture tool. This alone has saved me tons of time and aggravation.
It is also very easy to create high-quality .mp3 files of many different resolutions, which is another time saver. The only complaint I have is that its 'comments' field within the ID3 tag editor seems to have a bug in it where it doesn't record long text or character strings which may be necessary for encoding the .mp3 for online sales. If they can fix that, then Audition will be just about flawless.
Totally sweet program that is sweet to use.

There are many good recording programs out there but they are geared primararily to music. For specialties such as my Psycho-acoustic programs binaural, doppler and other effects only found here are essential. And for my leisure it also revives my "oldies" collection. Navigation could be a little easier and the HELP is almost pathetic, but overall this is the best out there

If you are into audio editing this it THE program. I've been using this program for years (started as Cool Edit) and growing with it as the software grew as well. Adobe has added a few tweaks that make this software that much better.

I use Adobe Audition for Voice-Over production. This video unleashes the power in the program in full detail. If there are 100 tricks in the production field, the video exposes 97 of them and you can work through figuring out the remaing 3. If you have Adobe Audition and you want to realize it's full portential, order the video. It's made a world of difference in my production.
