I've been using Classroom in a Book since they first came out, it was kind of my bible, for both my class and my practice, always easy to use/ follow instructions till this last version. It not only skips steps, in some cases it skips whole lessons for example Chapter 6 "Painting with gradients and patterns" the pattern part is ok, but they never got to the gradient part, which is one of the most important updates of this version! Then the constant "for more info got to adobe help menu" I'm sorry but if I'm buying a workbook it should have all the instructions or troubleshooting i need IN the book, for that matter, we would be better off consulting the Help menu. I don't think this version met with their old standards by any change.

I've been working with Adobe software for 12 years, and I still refer to this series of books every few upgrades. Adobe has created a wonderful tool to help beginners gain a good understanding for the programs. These books are also helpful for more experienced users to become familiar with the new features and changes in interface of new versions.
I recommend this series of books to anyone looking to work with these programs.
Not satisfied Bad shipping, June 21, 2009

It seemed like the seller shipped the item last minute once I started to complain about how long it was taking. Completely dissatisfied since I needed the book for class and was behind because it took so long. And the seller never responded back to any of my messages.
