If you come across a product that says "Refurbished" and you think it will be a good deal, think again. I bought the 30GB IPOD (5th generation) and it lasted about 2 hours. Thinking it might be the battery I took it to a local battery store and the clerk was knowledgeable enough to tell me it was not the battery but the Ipod that was bad. I took it to the local electronics store that handles the Ipod business and they told me to send it to Ipod company along with a check for $100 and they would fix it for me. Thanks but no thanks, I have lost enough money on this transaction.
Please listen to the voice of experience - go to a local store and buy a new one, it will be cheaper in the long run.

April C. BaileyI received the used 30gb ipod from a seller and I could not be happier. I had a few problems in the beginning but the seller was nice and talked me thru it. I would recommend and buy another product from her.

I love my iPod! I've had it for over 2 years now and it is still working well! I keep a plastic cover on it and then another aluminum one over that one so that might be the reason it doesn't have any scratches on it, but it is the best thing. I use it daily; I always have it on when I'm walking to and from class. It's great for car rides and bus rides and I can still find accessories for it even though it is so old. The battery life is still amazing and I can go about a week using it everyday without having to recharge. I would recommend this to anyone and even though it's not the newest one, if you can find one that is in good condition, you can have the same experience for at least half the price! I hope to have this one for at least another 2 years :)

I purchasded this I-pod as a replacement, not really sure that I wanted a re-furbished device however, much to my surprise the product not only arrived within two-three days of ordering but was brand new---or nearly next to new...I could not really tell the difference. I love my I-pod we are attached at the hip.
Best investment I made thus far as far as music goes... Will I order from this seller again? Absolutely! Great experiece but best of all, this was an excellent choice of sellers on my part as I am very happy with the whole process from start to finish.
