Works great, then just dies out..., November 23, 2009

Liam CraigI purchased and used these for about two months, taking care to treat them well, and at the two month mark, the left earpiece died. I checked online, and there are many comments about this being a problem. But, the warranty is up, and so I'm stuck with 425 in mono-audio.
The design is "ok" but still sticks to the iPod earhpone style of earbud, instead of something more stable, and sound -blocking, like an in-ear phone. I know they do have a new style that's in-ear, maybe I'll try that.
The sounds quality is just "average", which is good for most iPod/iPhone users who cannot tell the difference in sound quality, but I have some pricier earbuds from another manufacturer, and when you compare the two's sound quality, the Apple one's are just "average".
The wiring on these is very thin and fragile, do not wrap them tightly around anything, or you'll likely short them out.

You get what you pay for! Though they say it's by apple, it's not. They work, but definately don't feel or sound like the real ones.
Not "Apple" Brand, November 21, 2009

My order was a cheap knockoff shipped direct from Hong Kong (seriously) that has a mic, but no controls on the promised pod. This was not Apple brand and should not be advertised as Apple.

Robert M. ForwardMy cat keeps eating my ipod headphones- she loves to chew the little wires. I put soap on them to make them taste bad but the soap wears off as i handle the headphones every day. So she waits until they are seasoned and then munches them. NOOOO!! So i order more. thank goodness amazon has them for cheapo.
