a. was very reliably pottying on her big bjorn potty BabyBjörn Potty Chair - White before her second birthday this summer ( thank you 'once upon a potty' Once Upon a Potty -- Girl ) but with autumn just around the corner, we needed something small we could take to the park and music class. it needed to fit in a bag, and under the maclaren and the baby jogger.
a. is 30-ish pounds and nearly 27 months old. this is not an everyday seat .. it's the comfortable equivalent of peeing on the grass : necessary & convenient. i prefer her not sitting on a public toilet. the little bjorn is clean, familiar and safe.
the bjorn little potty is perfect in every way. the only caveat : be sure to have some spare water in your bottle Stainless Steel Water Bottle with hiking clip (16 Oz) - Pink c/t New Wave Enviro so that you can rinse if you're not near a sink.

A good deal for the money. It does tend to be a little small. Bigger children would probably have a tough time with it. Our little grand-daughter is small to average at 17 months and it fits her just fine, and probably will up until about age 2. A good chair for small children. Maybe not so good for bigger ones. Perfect for travel because of it's size, ez to clean also.

This potty chair is hardly a chair! It is a great idea, perfect price and light weight but...when any normal size child sits on it there is no way it does not spill! The splash guard is so low and the chair is so narrow once the child is on it there is no room for the urine. I would definately not recommend this chair for a boy!!! The larger Bjorn chairs are great, but stay away from this one unless your child is half the size of others their age!

AngieI bought this for my son who is slender. He only weighed 20 lbs. at 16 months old and was at the 55 percentile for his height. He was able to sit on it, but wouldn't use it because it was too low to the ground for his legs to be comfortable. He also couldn't get up without my assistance. So, yes this potty is great for early training. Other than that, it seems to be uncomfortable for the average 16 month old.
