Amusing with its black and white, spotted exterior, the "Mukka" express cappuccino maker is designed for use on your stovetop's burner. It's easy to use - just fill the bottom with water up to the indicator, insert the filter filled with ground coffee, screw on the top section and add milk. With the lid closed, place on your burner then press the button on top. Within minutes, your cappuccino or latte is ready. The "Mukka" express makes up to two, 7.4-oz. cups. It's made of enameled, die-cast aluminum. Handwash. 7.25 x 7.5-in. (including handle).

This easy-to-use device makes excellent cappuccinos. The instructions are much more intimidating then the actual use of the machine. Thanks to Mukka Express I have cappuccinos every morning with uber frothy milk. Well worth the money!
Mine tasted great right away..., November 9, 2008

I can't say it any better than hundreds of reviewers before me. Follow the instructions exactly, and understand (afterward, when you're ready to clean the pot) that you cannot unscrew the vessel unless you have let any remaining pressure out by carefully detaching the steam valve.
The one thing I want to add to the heap here is that mine started tasting great after only 2 pots discarded. Pots #3 through 8 still taste the same (excellent) and I'm looking forward to #20, #200, and beyond.
don't buy - thought it was good too but already broken, September 17, 2008

I read the reviews and since it received (on average) about 4 stars, i thought i would buy it. i did and i probably would have given equally positive reviews when i first used it (even a few weeks after receiving it). it's stylish; it's fun to use (in a weird, european kinda way).
now, it's already broken and doesn't work. the problems i have with this item are very consistent with what i have read from the few negative reviews of people who didn't just jump to write a review, used it for a while and now experience problems.
again, i would have given it a very positive review when i first got it so i would be curious to see how long the folks who gave it positive reviews had the item.
i've had mine for less than two months and now would not recommend anyone to buy this item.
Do wash in dishwasher!!, September 8, 2008

I rate this product a 3 because it is not perfect. It makes a good cup of cappuccino with practice.
If not careful it will leak, which can get quite messy. Making the perfect frost seems random.
This is a good product and get a good feeling of satisfaction when you get it right.
Finally do not put in dishwasher, the surface on the inside of the top chamber starts to dissolve.
This gray silky surface starts to loosen, you may start drinking that material.
I threw my away, but am now concern what's in my body.

If you dont mind making 1 LARGE cup at a time then this is for you. I've had it 3 weeks now, use it 3 times a day, and every cup is perfect. I have read other reviews where people seem to have trouble operating the device....all i can say is that they are aparently "common sense challanged". Trust me if you can read and comprehend the ENGLISH language you will be enjoying perfect Bialetti Mukka Express Cappuccino.
