Buying twice the battery, but not getting any more batter life. You really seem to need to stick with the Canon brand on these. The price is steeper, but I think it's necessary if you need to film anything "important" for any length of time.  Floor model batteries, October 19, 2009 By Madeleine A. Desroches (CT) I bought this battery for 1/2 of the price, as it was in a floor model camera. But, the life of the battery isn't at all what it should be. The original battery I bought with the camera has much more life to it. So it was dissappointing.
