Excellent animation book., October 19, 2009

Eric Goldberg doesn't dissapoint with this one. The best part about this book is that it comes with a computer CD that corresponds to specific chapters in the book which show u how to do certain animation techniques like making a character walk, run, talk, etc. It's not a "how to draw" book, he only covers basic character design, but it's mainly aimed at bringing your drawings to life and proper animation techniques. I already know how to draw so this is a very helpful resource to me.

Beginning Animator's Dream, June 30, 2009
By
Jared JohnstonI just received this book in the mail and already I'm almost through it. This book has the basics for any beginning animator and is a dream come true for people searching for the fundamentals. It touches down a little bit on just about everything, even the old school ways. It comes with a disc full of the example in the book, which is pretty amazing. I have owned many animation books and this is definitely a must have for someone looking to get into animation.

I am going to start off by saying if you want to learn how to do animation, this book is not for you. If you already are an animator and have a basic knowledge of the art form, this is one of the best books you can ever read to sharpen your skills. Bravo Eric Goldberg
