You get what you pay for, November 8, 2008

R. FremanI was excited to see a cheap alternative to an Apple branded product and decided to take a chance. My workday exceeds my ipod's battery life so I need a way to charge it during the day. I plugged it in at lunch time and the LED on the charger lit up, and the battery indicator on my ipod showed that it was charging. Then, within 30 seconds, it stopped working. The LED on the plug is the only thing that works. I paid $.01 for this, then nearly $3.00 for shipping! Never again! I should have read reviews before making this purchase seeing that it has destroyed some people's ipods! I guess that I was lucky to have only wasted a little bit of money. If it were possible to give a rating of less than 1 star, I would, I can't stand to get ripped off.

I understand that this is a inexpensive item, however the prong for the plug broke after the 2nd use. I guess you get what you pay for.

You could go to the store and pay a lot more for an iPod power charger but why? This item does the same thing that the more expensive units do for less $!

It charges my ipod nano from completely dead to fully charged in a couple of hours. I can still listen to music through headphones while charging.
