This is a great microphone with a really clear sound. I am a singer/songwriter, I use it to record videos on Youtube and they come out great! If you're thinking of buying this mic and just want to listen to the sound of it you can visit my youtube site [...] I did my research and found that Amazon has the best price for this microphone! I had a lapel mike that was on its last legs and fading fast. I had to shout into it to record an even weak signal. This Logitech mike is an incredible improvement. It's sensitivity is great. I had to turn the volume control on my sound card down to the half setting to keep the recording volume low enough to avoid clipping. Even then the mike is about two feet from my mouth and I speak in a conversational tone of voice. The recorded sound is good quality, with no spikes for the hard consonant sounds, like p's and t's. I use it only for voice, not music. A terrific buy for the price.

I love this thing!! It's much easier to use than the other microphones that I've purchased before and the voice quality is much better too!!



Did not work with Vista *64*, November 19, 2008

Plenty of people are writing reviews saying this works with Vista, but not specifying if they are using 32- or 64-bit Vista. Personally, I could not get it working in 64 bit Vista (can't speak for 32 bit Vista). In 32 bit XP however, it worked fine, and worked great. Good purchase if you are not running Vista 64, as far as I can tell.
