The mStand is hands down the best laptop stand made for Apple laptops! The brushed aluminum finish matches the finish on the old Macbook Pro very well and you won''t even notice. After using this stand, my posture at my desk improved because the screen is raised about 6 inches, allowing the screen to be closer to eye level.
The stand also includes a cable management hole in the back so all of the cables connected to your laptop neatly tuck away behind the laptop. The stand has also been updated to include a small notch allowing users to open their laptop right on the stand. Another design feature are the rubber pads that prevent your laptop from directly contacting the metal stand, therevy avoiding scratches on you machine. Finally, the IR reciever and the slot-loading drive are still easily accessable and not blocked.

without covering up the slot for CDs or the buttom to open the MBP.

I purchased the Mstand based on the good reviews here. The build quality makes it worth the cost. I looked at other stands and Some were cheap plastic and unstable, while others were just too complicated.
One criticism I have is that I agree with others the angle could be better. I measure it to be about 35ยบ, but 25 or 30 would be much better. This would give users more room for adjusting the display angle. The display on the MacBook Pro does not tilt back very far, but I noticed at the Apple store that the new aluminum MacBooks open much father.
All said my desk is more comfortable, and using a keyboard/mouse is a joy.
