Durney (Tampa Bay area) This is about the best screen capture software product available. Snagit captures from every product I have tried it on saving in a multitude of standard file formats. The product is easy to install with free upgrades and full technical support. I only use the capture feature for pictures but there are multiple types of captures possible. Once saved, I have a standard JPG file that can be attached to an email, embedded in a newsletter or just enjoyed as part of a screensaver.
The company has a full set of tutorials and simple documentation is provided.
 Screwed up both of my XP computers, September 17, 2009 By Charles NaumanI really would like to have a piece of software that does what this product (and Mr. Snappy) claim to do. However, both products caused my two Dell XP computers (one desktop and one laptop)to uncontrollably show the screen as jumping up and down continually. I was barely able to start a restore of the computer(s). Has anyone else had this experience and is there a cure ?SnagIt Version 9.1 SnagIt 9.1 is a wonderful product, August 30, 2009 By msw (Boise, ID) As a software tester, I need to include screen shots when I submit defect reports. The Auto Scroll feature is indispensable. With just one screen shot, I can capture an entire web page automatically. Before using SnagIt, I had to take multiple screen shots, then try to paste them back together. You can select only part of a window or part of the entire screen if you wish. I make extensive use of the Shape feature to draw circles or squares around the part of the screen where I saw a problem, and I use the Text feature to add notes about the problem.
The 30-day free trial has no functionality restrictions, so you can try all of the many features before you buy. The purchase price includes two licenses. I use one at work and the other at home. I am 100% satisfied with this program. |
