Do not purchase this product if you have figured out the basics already. There is nothing new here for you. However, if you are just getting on Vegas, this will make a very simple and basic companion. Much more depth is needed, and could have been added - there was so much time left on the DVD - for someone who has even a rudimentary understanding of video or audio editing software.
