AWFUL on 2 Vista computers; it refused to load on 2 XPs., November 1, 2009

Flatly, this is the WORST software I've ever tried to use, and I have yet to find a computer it'll run with. If 0 stars were an option, I'd be there. It was rec. by Dell for my now 6 MO laptop, and said laptop became so possessed and slow that I couldn't delete it; I had to "go back in time" with System Restore. I just tried it with my new Sony, and it popped open windows faster than I could delete them, resulting in 50 windows and a crash. Upon restart, I deleted the thing as quickly as possible before it could do more damage.

With the XPs, it wouldn't load at all. In other words, this was $70 wasted.

Just installed this version and it has slowed down my laptops. Older versions worked great, fast, but not this version. Trend went from the best to below average. Hope they fix it in newer versions, but I will move on to something else.

This is a very simple and easy one just like the others but PC runs faster I guess...anyway, I am still trying so If I found anything wrong I will share with everyone.
We like the price.

I'm not a techy so I don't think I there is a whole lot of weight to my opinion but the Trend Micro seems to be doing the job. I've had it on my computer for several months now. According to CNET Trend Micro's base anti-virus is solid but lacked the bells and whistles of a "norton." So I went with the Trend Micro Pro for the cheaper price and more protection. What is better than keystroke encryption? I could have got it for $30 but ended up paying $35.00. My other virus suite was $50 plus for a year. I came over from using CA Internet Security Suite for over 5 years. My computer got ate by something that they failed to protect me from so I fired them.

Trend Micro Security Pro arrived ahead of schedule and when I installed it, everything went quickly and smoothly. Software registered with no problems and it updates and works just like it's supposed to. I've used this product before as it was reccommended to me for working well with Vista. I have no problems with it and my computer is virus free and happy!
