If you're currently working with Vegas 6 or 7, and are not sure if the upgrade to Version 8 is worth it, I'd say for the money, go for it. The advanced titling options are very cool and versatile and fun to work with. That is the main difference I've seen that affects me as a hobbyist. The multi camera additions and the blu-ray authoring features are things I may or may not need in the future, but I can't give any input to their effectiveness, as I haven't had cause to use them. I've noticed a few other minor things that have been fixed or improved that make basic navigation of the program a bit easier. But in general, the main plus is the advanced titling. If that's worth the money to you, the upgrade is worthwhile. It was for me.
